Quick question. This morning I plugged my car in to my Zappi which is integrated with IOG. I was given a charging schedule as below. Great I thought, get the car back up to 100% after using it for a short journey first thing today (it’s a PHEV). I have a house storage battery and solar which I thought was connected to prevent house battery drain. But, when I checked the myenergi app I saw that the house battery was being drained. So, my question is, has the electrician got the set up wrong? Thanks for any helpful advice.
Yes, your electrician has got the wiring wrong. To prevent the battery from sending power to the Zappi the Zappi needs to be wired up somewhere outside the area which the battery tries to power. Meter/isolator - Zappi CT clamp - tap for Zappi - battery CT clamp - rest of house wiring
