If I use up most of the car battery in the morning and want to go on a long run in the evening what's the best strategy?
The Oct app only offers me ready times to 11am

Octopus only gives you the low cost slots when there is a surplus of cheap energy on the network. So when there is a lot of wind or solar available. The upside is that if there are cheap slot available, the whole house will also run on cheap energy.
